Now we get in the Easter holidays. Last year, in the Easter holidays, I
went ot Treasure Island for one night, and had a wonderful experience.
For this year, I also chose to go to a resort and tried to find out a good
place. What I got remiond is the sea of Rakiraki that I saw in my trip
going around the Vitilevu Island.
It was so quiet and beautiful, and there were not many turists and remains
in my impression strongly. I decided to go to a resort out of Rakiraki
town for two nights.
When I left home, it was still rainning, but the weather forcast says it
will be fine soon.
Anyway, let's go to Rakiraki!
Leaving from Nadi, I passed Lautoka and Ba, and then arrived at Tavua.
From here the destination is just the next door.
A strange rock in Narewa Village came in sight. Rakiraki is just over there
now.
I have been driving straight to here, and it is likely to reach there taking
for just about 2 hours from Nadi.
I came back to Rakiraki again!
Go to a resort out of RakiRaki town.
Here it is!
I reserved a bure in front of the beach! (Only 10meters away from the water)

This is an entrance. Oh good!
Beautiful facilities! NO complains at all! It is something like wasting
of money to sleep alone....
There is a big window in the shower place to show a little gardern being
sorrounded with a wooden fence. It's like a Japanese style!
A real live flower for welcome makes me so happy. (One being put on a side
table at the bed)
I was quite satisfied with a nice restaurant, and was surprised a lot with
the good taste of the food provided there.
A Fijian band sings nice Fijian songs. A beautiful voice and harmony!
Lights in front of my bure were switched on as it gets dark. As the weather
was not good today, I just took it easy and had a rest in the room. I will
enjoy swimming tomorrow!
The band let me hear its nice voice at dinner time again.
In the next morning, the sun is about to rise. The surface of the water
is so calm.
It seems at high tide, and the beach is covered with water.
Sun has risen.

The morning sun really give me a power. It seems that we are going to have a sunny day today.
A bure in front (center) is the bure where I am staying.
Wow! it's a swimming time!
I am full equipped with a snorkel and fins.
Water is warm and it is like a sleeping in a hot spring.
Wow, Wow! It's super! Wonderful!
I brought my camera in the water to take a picture of all the resort.
This is a very typical style as in a tropical resort to sleep in a hammock
hung between palm trees.
As you see, there is no distance to the water from my bure.

Wonderful tasty foods here. This is great especially in Fiji.
After staying for 2 nights, I left the resort to get back to my home.
The scenery between Rakiraki and Tavua along with King's Road is just fantastice!
The weater is improved further, and is just a wonderful drive!
In ther northern area in Viti Levu Island is full of beautiful places!
It is so sad to leave here for home in Nadi.
I was really refleshed staying in a pleasant mini-resort, enjoying a quiet
sea and delicious foods.
